Renault has launched its 2016 car - the RS16 - at an event in Paris.

The team's first car has been unveiled during an event launching a "comprehensive" new motorsport program - Renault Sport Racing - including the F1 team, which will be known as the Renault Sport Formula One Team.

The RS16 has been launched in an interim livery which is predominantly black with some additional yellow. Renault Sport F1 president Jerome Stoll hinted the livery would be used in testing but is likely to change by the Australian Grand Prix.

Renault has also confirmed its driver line-up for 2016, with Jolyon Palmer being joined by Kevin Magnussen who replaces Pastor Maldonado. Esteban Ocon has also been confirmed as the team's reserve driver.

Team members were presented at the event with Frederic Vasseur named as Racing Director and Bob Bell announced as the Chief Technical Officer.
