Mercedes has announced the first images of the W07 will be released on Sunday ahead of its public debut the following day.

The team's new car completed a filming day at Silverstone on Friday, with Mercedes releasing a teaser video of the car flashing past on the pit straight. In total Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton completed 98.2km with the new car, featuring the new Mercedes power unit.

Following Friday's running, Mercedes has confirmed it will release studio images of the W07 on Sunday. The car itself will then be presented in the pit lane on Monday morning before the start of the first test in Barcelona.

Hamilton will drive on the first and third days of the opening test, while Rosberg will be in the car on days two and four next week.

McLaren is also launching its new car online on Sunday, while Ferrari will be carrying out its own filming day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Ferrari's new SF16-H was unveiled during an online launch on Friday, while Williams has also released the first images of its new car - the FW38 - ahead of the start of testing.
