The FIA has released a revised classification for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix based on a raft of post-race penalties levied upon eight drivers for track limit infringements.
While there is fortunately no change for the top-three, with Max Verstappen winning from Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez, the sanctions have led to several demotions among the top ten, including for Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton.
The revised results follow an investigation by the FIA stewards in the wake of a legitimate protest lodged after the race by Aston Martin.
The following drivers received post-race penalties:
Tsunoda - 5 seconds
Sainz - 10 seconds
Hamilton - 10 seconds
Gasly - 10 seconds
Albon - 10 seconds
Sargeant - 10 seconds
De Vries - 15 seconds
Ocon - 30 seconds
In the final standings, among the top-ten, Carlos Sainz is demoted from P4 to P6, Hamilton drops from P7 to P8, and Pierre Gasly moves from P9 to P10.
This means that Lando Norris is promoted to fourth, Fernando Alonso moves up to fifth, George Russell inherits P8 while Lance Stroll gaisn a position and moves up to P9.
