Jenson Button - (14th place): 7/10
One of Button’s better weekends in terms of pace compared to Fernando Alonso, as the 2009 world champion qualified as the lead McLaren and actually moved forward on the grid despite a power unit penalty. An excellent start on soft tyres saw him ninth on the first lap but once quicker cars started to fight back he was a sitting duck. Still made life difficult for any recovering cars and was holding off team-mate Alonso for a spell late on.
