F1i's Driver Ratings for the Spanish GP

Nico Hülkenberg (sixth, 8 points) : 7.5/10

Another solid showing from the German, who by himself continues to confirm the progress made by Renault week after week. But it wasn’t looking so after a disappointing qualifying in which he failed to reach Q3 for the first time since Melbourne. But Nico took the bull by the horns straight away and slotted in between the Force Indias and the Toro Rossos and Haas’. He got ahead of Wehrlien via pits stops. The retirement of three front-runners did the rest.
