The Kiwi finally caught a break. While there was nothing to cheer about in qualifying, or early on Sunday when he got held up behind Stroll, Hartley kept his emotions in check during the downpour. He ran well on the harder compound but not so much on the ultra-softs. He was helpless against the fast approaching Grosjean, but with the penalty to Sainz, he picked up his second point of the season.
