Usually ‘‘Best of the Rest’’ means seventh, but K-Mag started fifth. He soon moved aside for the hard charging Hamilton, but kept his nemesis Hülkenberg in his rear views just until it began to rain. He came in for intermediates during the safety car period then returned for slicks like team mate Grosjean. But while the Frenchman came alive, he couldn’t get past Hartley, losing a good opportunity to score a point.
