Six F1 drivers - more than a quarter of the grid - plus two reserves will take part in the Race of Champions this weekend, including two world champions and four grand prix winners.
The event takes place at inside London's Olympic Stadium, with drivers lining up at different parts of a tight circuit to go head-to-head in a pursuit-style race in cars ranging from an Ariel Atom to a Mercedes AMG GT-S and a Euro NASCAR on a 565-metre track. F1 world champions Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button are joined by Daniel Ricciardo, Felipe Massa, Romain Grosjean and Nico Hulkenberg, while 2016 Lotus driver Jolyon Palmer and Mercedes protege Pascal Wehrlein will also take part.
Friday sees the drivers competing in the ROC Nations Cup, with teams of two attempting to win the title currently held by Team Nordic made up of Petter Solberg and Tom Kristensen. The format is two head-to-head races, with the two winning drivers then facing off in a deciding race if the score is tied.
On Saturday it's every man for himself as the drivers go in search of the individual title to be crowned Champion of Champions. Again, each driver will take part in a best of three contest to try and progress to the next round.
David Coulthard is the reigning Champion of Champions and is present this weekend to defend his crown. Here, F1i brings you the rundown of all the F1 drivers involved, who they are racing alongside and their thoughts before track action starts on Friday evening.
