Jenson Button - 11th place - 7.5/10
McLaren appears to have found its level on power-sensitive circuits such as Montreal and Baku, with a pair of 11th places from the last two races. After a poor qualifying Button was in good form, making a strong start before closely following his ailing team-mate Fernando Alonso. Opted for a two-stop strategy and made the most of fresh soft tyres to push through the field, pulling some good overtaking moves on his way towards the top ten, which also marks encouraging progress from McLaren on a circuit which requires a good top speed.
