Pirelli has announced the tyre selections for the Hungarian Grand Prix, with the supersoft tyre favoured by all teams.

With high temperatures often seen at the Hungaroring in July, Pirelli nominated the medium, soft and supersoft for this year's race. The selection has led to teams stocking up on the softest available compound, with no driver selecting fewer than seven sets of supersofts.

Ferrari is the most aggressive team with nine sets of supersofts, while Mercedes, Sauber and Haas all have eight sets for each driver. The medium compound tyre is required to be available as a race set - along with one set of softs - and only Force India and Esteban Gutierrez have two sets available for the weekend.

The Hungarian Grand Prix has traditionally been the final race before the summer break in recent years, but this season forms the first part of a back-to-back set of races ahead of the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.
