The weekend has been dominated by off-track headlines so far, with Felipe Massa announcing his retirement from F1 on Thursday while Jenson Button yesterday confirmed he will not race in 2017, with Stoffel Vandoorne taking his seat at McLaren. However, the 2009 world champion may return in 2018.
With a change of ownership in F1 set to be announced next week, the focus now switches back to the racing, with the final round of the European season taking place at Monza.
Lewis Hamilton starts from pole position after a sensational performance in qualifying on Saturday, with the championship leader beating team-mate Nico Rosberg by half a second. Rosberg starts alongside Hamilton on the front row, with the two Ferraris on the second row in front of the Tifosi.
Valtteri Bottas starts from fifth place ahead of the Red Bull pair of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, with Sergio Perez, Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Gutierrez rounding out the top ten.
