Jolyon Palmer - DNF - 5/10
Palmer got the better of team-mate Magnussen and progressed to Q2, but he was caught out in the race after a disappointing stint on intermediate tyres which saw him drop to last on the road. After the safety car period for Ericsson’s crash, Palmer switched back to full wet tyres but proceeded to run into the back of Kvyat at the race restart, damaging his front right suspension and forcing his own retirement.
