Stoffel Vandoorne (DNS): No Score

The young Belgian was a revelation last year in Bahrain, but now harsh reality has struck the McLaren protégé. Vandoorne suffered no less than three failures of his MGU-H unit, with the last preventing him from taking the start. 2018 is perhaps shaping up to be a task too far for the rookie, but to those who would point out he is clearly behind Alonso, remember that not only is he in his first full campaign he also doesn’t necessarily have the same upgrades.
