F1i's Driver ratings for the Hungarian GP

Fernando Alonso (P8, 4 pts) : 8/10
Even on a track that doesn’t punish for a lack of power, Fernando said it wasn’t a given he could move on from Q1 if not for the rain. The Q2 radio chat with his engineer about putting whatever tyres he wanted on the car, because it wasn’t going to improve his times, was classic Alonso. P11 Saturday and P11 at the end of lap one, his extended first sting put him in contention for a spot among the top ten, and secured a P8 finish.
