With a car that handles better in bone-dry conditions, K-Mag was pleased to move on to Q3. He put in a much better start than Grosjean to slot in behind Gasly. Once there, he could do nothing to close ground to the Toro Rosso, but there wasn’t anyone stalking him either. With the 7 points in Hungary, the American team is alone in fifth place in the constructor’s chase at the mid-season break.
