The future Sauber driver seemed to just go through the motions this weekend in Sochi. Solidly bested by Vettel in qualifying, Kimi stayed clear of the potential chaos with the Silver Arrows at the start. While never being too far back, he was never in contention for a trip to the podium. Last of the top four to come in for tyres, he led four laps but as he admitted - and despite “a nice feel with the car” -he was bored to tears.
