After a weekend to forget in Singapore, K-Mag won, as he put it, the “B pole”, with the fifth fastest Q3 lap, clearly ahead of the Pink Panthers, Leclerc and his team mate. After a good start, he was overtaken by Leclerc but held off the two Force India drivers who tried but failed to pass the VF-18. Another four points puts the Dane on equal pegging with Hülkenberg in the driver’s chase and moves Haas to within nine points of Renault in the Constructor’s championship.
