Follow live coverage of the first free practice session for the Russian Grand Prix with F1i.
The opening session of the weekend at Sochi Autodrom will see Red Bull test its Aeroscreen cockpit protection concept on Daniel Ricciardo's car, with the device being used during the installation lap. The test follows the first public running of the Halo by Ferrari during pre-season testing in Barcelona.
There are also some driver changes for FP1 as Alfonso Celis makes his second appearance driving for Force India, while Sergey Sirotkin will also be driving for Renault in place of Kevin Magnussen.
It is just over six months since Formula 1 was last racing in Russia, with the grand prix taking an earlier slot on the calendar this season having been the 17th race in 2015.
