Excitement is building for Andretti Global's highly anticipated relocation, with the US motorsport outfit sharing the official designs for its new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Fishers, Indiana.
The $200 million 575,000 square foot headquarters will house the company's current and future racing programmes, meaning its NTT IndyCar Series, Indy Lights and IMSA, and hopefully its Formula 1 operations.
After its F1 entry was given the green light by the FIA, Andretti’s plans were rejected recently by Formula 1 itself.
However, the team is pressing on with its plans as it hopes to convince the sport’s commercial right holder that it is worthy of a spot on the grid.
As an indication of its commitment to F1, 50% of Andretti Global’s new headquarters will reportedly be devoted to the design and manufacturing activities associated with F1.
Interestingly, Andretti has entrusted a large part of the design of its new Fishers site to British company Ridge which has worked in the past with several F1 teams on designing new facilities, including most recently Aston Martin’s new state-of-the-art Silverstone campus.
The Fishers project follows a strategic phased approach, with Phase 1 of the covering just under 400,000 square feet. The 2025 move-in date for Phase 1 will focus on bringing Andretti’s Indycar and Indy NXT operations under one roof alongside the operations of Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti’s IMSA programs.

Subsequent phases include the development of an Andretti Experience building, intended for public access, incorporating a museum and restaurant. Additionally, the site has ample space for potential future expansions.
The project places significant emphasis on fostering employee engagement and a culture of wellness, drawing in the Indiana workforce and attracting global talent for the international brand.
The upcoming facility is designed to feature cutting-edge amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, walking trails with connectivity to the Nickel Plate Trail and Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve, amphitheaters, employee gathering spaces, and expanded dining options.
“Since groundbreaking we’ve taken time to really evaluate and dive deep into every aspect of the project,” said chairman and CEO Michael Andretti.
“Our goal remains to create a healthy workplace and culture for employees and a campus that can be a destination for the community, while focusing on enhanced performance and competition capabilities for our race teams.
“The updated designs and direction accomplish all those things, and I’m so proud of what we are building.
“Indiana has been home to the Andretti organisation for many years, and the city of Fishers has been very welcoming. We are thrilled to see progress continuing with our campus and can’t wait to officially join the community.”
