It's good to see Rubens Barrichello back to doing what he loves best.

The 46-year-old Brazilian had a bit of a health scare earlier this year when he underwent emergency surgery after a brain tumour was diagnosed.

Fortunately, the 11-time Grand Prix winner made a complete recovery after the life-saving procedure.

And it certainly hasn't put him off indulging in his great love of motorsport, as he was soon back in action in Brazilian Stock Cars with the Full Time Team at the wheel of a Chevrolet V8-5.7.

He's already been runner-up twice so far in 2018, and won last month's race in Goiania.

He's back in action again this weekend, competing in Sunday's two races at the Autódromo Internacional de Cascavel. Among other drivers taking part are Luca di Grassi and Nelson Piquet Jr.

Certainly Barrichello looks the picture of health in this new photo, which sees him casting loving looks toward his colourful current racing helmet

It's good to see him looking so well and happy. Long may 'Rubinho' be hard at work setting fastest laps around the track for many years to come!
