Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso have both been cleared by the stewards following their crash on the opening lap of the Austrian Grand Prix.
Exiting Turn 2 on the opening lap of the race, Raikkonen lost control of the rear of his Ferrari and swerved left towards the barrier on the outside of the track. With little run-off, Raikkonen collected Alonso at the same time and the two cars hit the barrier at high speed.
With both drivers retiring, the incident was investigated after the race but both drivers were cleared, with the stewards' decision stating: "No driver was at fault."
Raikkonen has since said he didn't know what happened that caused him to lose control while accelerating in the middle of the straight, while Alonso labelled the incident as "very strange" but was glad nobody was hurt.
