A new set of regulations to make F1 cars "faster and more aggressive looking" in 2017 have been outlined.
A meeting of the Strategy Group - featuring the FIA, Bernie Ecclestone and the top six teams from last year's championship - on Wednesday saw further discussions regarding regulations changes to make the cars more challenging to drive in 2017.
The FIA confirmed the proposed regulations "include wider cars and wheels, new wings and floor shape and significantly increased aerodynamic downforce".
While the new regulations are only proposals at this stage, they are currently being assessed by the teams to see if they can be successfully implemented.
The meeting also saw increased restrictions on driver aids agreed upon for implementation at the Belgian Grand Prix, while 2016 could see the race weekend format overhauled.
