Red Bull rules in Monaco DHL pit stop award

Red Bull Racing was at the opposite end of its pit stop fortunes this year in Monaco after the team's blunder which cost Daniel Ricciardo a sure win last year.

This time out, the Australian's crew worked flawlessly fast, swapping the worn ultrasofts on the #3 Red Bull for a set of supersofts in just 2.60s, winning the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award.

The move was not only the quickest of the weekend, it also allowed Ricciardo to pass both team mate Max Verstappen - much to the teenager's dismay - and Mercedes'  Valtteri Bottas, and race on to a podium finish.

In the overall DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award standings, Williams is still ahead with a 17 points advantage over Mercedes.
