Reigning world champion Nico Rosberg will return to F1 this weekend when he puts his race-winning Mercedes W05 through its paces at Goodwood on Sunday.
Lord March's annual Festival of Speed which kicked off yesterday at Goodwood will once again boast a strong contingent from Formula 1, with more than 60 cars on display representing seven decades of the sport.
Rosberg will feature prominently in the star-studded lineup, and will race up the hill on Sunday behind the wheel of a 2014 Mercedes W05 Hybrid.
Tomorrow, Russian Grand Prix winner Valtteri Bottas will warm-up Rosberg's W05 with a run of his own up the famous hill.
Renault Sport F1 Team will be celebrating 40 years in the sport and will be bringing their current driver Jolyon Palmer to the festivities, along with reserve driver Sergey Sirotkin.
Former Williams F1 Champions Alan Jones and Damon Hill will be accompanying the Williams team in celebrating their 40th anniversary, bringing an unrivalled experience of the F1 World Championship to West Sussex.
The theme for the 2017 Festival of Speed will be 'Peaks of Performance - Motorsport's Game-Changers'.
Goodwood's FOS will be celebrating racing machines that were so fast, powerful, expensive or complicated that the rules had to be changed to rein them in!
