Both Williams and Haas teams have remained in the Silverstone paddock this week, with both outfits set to conduct tyre testing for Pirelli today and tomorrow.
The US outfit will run Antonio Giovinazzi while Lance Stroll is on duty for Williams as both drivers put the Italian manufacturer's development rubber through its paces.
Pirelli is supplying a batch of 2018 compounds for the test, while next generation rain tyres will also be in stock in the event that the skies open, which looked probable this morning in Northampton.
It's a slick tyre test, but this being England (check out the sky!) there's a back-up wet tyre programme we can carry out if it rains. #F1 pic.twitter.com/EzccYwIXDL
