Because of its high number of slow corners, pushing cars towards maximum downforce, the Circuit of the Americas isn't exactly a power thirsty track.
But two long straights still bring out the best - or the worst for some cars - in terms of top speed.
In qualifying, we poleman Lewis Hamilton just edged out Sergio Perez's Force India and the Mercedes of team mate Valtteri Bottas, with a run through the speed trap at 330.8 km/h.
At the other end of the spectrum, it's hardly a surprise to find once again the McLaren boys, some 10 km/h down on top speed from the lead cars. Ouch!
