Nico Rosberg starts from pole position knowing he needs to outscore Lewis Hamilton, who is closing in on a second consecutive world title. Hamilton is alongside his team-mate on the front row, with Mercedes needing to score just three more points than Ferrari to secure the constructors' championship.
Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel make up row two as Williams takes the fight to Ferrari this weekend, but Felipe Massa starts down in 15th place after a difficult qualifying session.
Force India will look to score heavily from sixth and seventh on the grid with Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez respectively, while Max Verstappen starts directly ahead of both Red Bull drivers in ninth place.
Verstappen's Toro Rosso team-mate Carlos Sainz has been cleared to race following his heavy accident during FP3 on Saturday which saw him airlifted to hospital, with the Spaniard starting from the back of the grid. In fact, grid penalties have resulted in all three Spanish drivers filling the back three grid positions, with Roberto Merhi 18th and Fernando Alonso 19th after power unit penalties.
