The Italian Grand Prix stewards took no further action over the incident that opposed Kevin Magnussen and Fernando Alonso, but the Dane still picked apart his rival for his 'disrespectful' attitude.
Alonso gained a tow from the Haas driver during Q2 before overtaking Magnussen on the run down to the first chicane, with the McLaren positioned on the outside.
Fighting for his own lap, Magnussen put up a fight as the two negotiated Turn 1, to which Alonso responded with a squeeze on the exit.
"I’m not going to let him past me and sacrifice my own lap," said Magnussen after the contentious on-track spat.
"No way. I know he thinks he’s God but no way."
The Dane was clearly riled by the McLaren driver's aggressive behavior despite the stewards' decision not to intervene.
"If you impede someone while you’re on a push lap yourself it’s not impeding apparently," he reacted.
"That was the same with Kimi in France. Perhaps something we need to look at. I don’t really mind, as long as it’s the same for everyone that’s fine.
"I’d be interested to see if it was the other way how the turn out would be but can only speculate."
There's no love lost between Magnussen and Alonso who have been at odds with each on multiple occasions in the past.
"I think we know that Fernando is a bit of an opportunist," he said.
"We’ve seen that about him quite a few times in his career with his teams as well trying different things that didn’t always work out. It didn’t work out today.
"He came to me after qualifying and laughed to my face. It's just outright disrespectful," added Magnussen who, in the past, has distilled a few 'disrespectful' comments of his own to his opponents.
The Haas drivers final words on the matter? "I can’t wait for him to retire!"
