Tatiana Calderon boosted her F1 experience this weekend with a two-day run at Fiorano that saw the young Colombian put in over 594 kilometers in Saubers' Ferrari-powered C32.

Calderon made her F1 debut during a promotional event held earlier this month in Mexico City, but the 25-year-old was given extensive mileage over the two days in Italy in the 2013-spec V8-powered car.

On Saturday, the GP3 Series driver put in a strong performance as she continued her learning process, completing 90 laps of Ferrari's test track while running on Pirelli's promotional tyres.

"It was a really great first experience driving in Fiorano," she said after her first day in the car.

"The track is interesting, and the atmosphere is special. The air and track temperatures were quite low today, but consistent.

"Our target was for me to learn the track and find a good balance for the car, which we achieved.

"Driving the Sauber C32-Ferrari feels incredible, and the sound and power of the V8 engine are amazing."

Sunday's programme focused on qualifying and race simulations, with Calderon performing consistently without ever putting a foot wrong.

In total, she completed 202 laps - the equivalent of 594.890 kilometers - over the course of the two-day test conducted in very cold conditions, with her fastest lap set at 00:53.802.

"It was another interesting day of testing," said Calderon on Sunday afternoon.

"We focused on qualifying simulations in the morning, and long-runs in the afternoon.

"Overall, the past two days have been very beneficial to my development and I have gained valuable experience.

"The team did a great job in the preparation as well as the implementation of my programme and I felt comfortable in the car as well as on the track.

"I look forward to putting what I have learned to practice."
