The feat went unnoticed amid the thrilling action out on the track, but a new all-time pit stop record was achieved in Sunday's British Grand Prix.
The fastest tyre swap in the history of Grand Prix racing took place on lap 13 and was performed in 1.91 seconds by Red Bull Racing and the crew servicing Pierre Gasly's RB15.
The DHL Fastest Pit Stop Aawrd clinched by the Milton Keynes-based outfit last weekend beat a three-year record held by Williams since the 2016 European Grand Prix in Baku, where Felipe Massa's tyres were changes in a swift 1.92 seconds.
It actually takes longer to say Azerbaijan!
Beyond the record, the achievement is first and foremost a testimony to a crew's flawless precision and coordination, and perhaps the ultimate expression of team work in F1.
