Red Bull Racing has revealed the launch date for its 2022 F1 car – the RB18 – which the Milton Keynes-based outfit will unveil next week.
Red Bull will pull the covers off its new machine on Wednesday, February 9, having teased the car's presentation on social media on Thursday with a short video that prominently features team sponsor TAG Heuer.
Red Bull's all-new RB18 which has been designed to F1's new 'ground effect' regulations will be powered once again by Honda.
Although the Japanese manufacturer has officially departed F1, it will continue to produce and assemble in Japan the engines that will be used this year by RBR and Scuderia AlphaTauri.
Reigning world champion Max Verstappen, who is contracted to Red Bull until the end of 2023, will embark on his seventh season with the team while teammate Sergio Perez heads into his second campaign with RBR.
With Red Bull now the first team to unveil its 2022 contender, Haas and Williams are the remaining two F1 outfits that have yet to announce the presentation date for their new machines.
