F1 teams remained on site at Yas Marina after Sunday's final race of the season, with a full day of tyre testing in collaboration with Pirelli scheduled on Tuesday.
Each outfit will field two cars: one machine assigned to a regular driver and the other to a rookie driver, but both with will play an important role in evaluating the final specifications of Pirelli's 2023 product, including a new hard compound that the supplier has developed for next season.
But the test will also provide an opportunity for several drivers switching teams as well as for several new young chargers to get acquainted with their new outfit and teammates.
The line-ups for each team:
Red Bull: The reigning world champions have assigned both Sergio Perez (am) and Max Verstappen (pm) to their main car, while F2 charger Liam Lawson will definitely be onboard the outfit's second machine.
Ferrari: Charles Leclerc (am) and Carlos Sainz (pm) will share the Scuderia's main machine while Robert Shwartzman will handle young driver duties.
Mercedes: The Brackley squad will also rely on both its drivers for Tuesday, with George Russell running in the morning and Lewis Hamilton taking over in the afternoon. On the other side of the Mercedes garage, young Dane Frederik Vesti, who will race in the FIA Formula 2 Championship next season with ART Grand Prix, will make his F1 debut with Mercedes.

Alpine: Although under contract with Red Bull until the end of the year, AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly has been released from his obligations and will therefore make his debut on Tuesday with his new team. As Alpine's junior driver, Jack Doohan will have another opportunity to put more F1 mileage under his belt.
McLaren: Lando Norris will be on track as team papaya's race driver but the main attraction on Tuesday will be the public debut of Oscar Piastri. The former Alpine junior's F1 contract saga has been well-chronicled, but one hopes that the start of his career with McLaren will feature less drama.

Alfa Romeo: Valtteri Bottas will handle the team's main duties with Pirelli, while Sauber protégé Theo Pourchaire will continue to build on his F1 experience onboard the Hinwill squad's C42.
Aston Martin: Another driver released early by his 2022 team is Fernando Alonso who will show up suited and booted in green after switching his allegiance from Alpine to Aston. The Spaniard will share his team's main workload with new teammate Lance Stroll, but FIA F2 champion Felipe Drugovich will also be on track with team Silverstone.
Haas: F1 returnee Nico Hulkenberg will stretch his legs on Tuesday with Haas, while Pietro Fittipaldi will also be in action in the US outfit's second VF-22.

AlphaTauri: Yuki Tsunoda will undertake one more day of running before heading into his winter break, while Nyck de Vries will warm up to his new team while also achieving the extraordinary feat of driving his fifth 2022 F1 car of the year!
Williams: The Grove-based outfit will put its 2023 line-up through its paces on Tuesday with Alex Albon and 21-year-old American Logan Sargeant.
