Formula 1 has announced that the fifth season of the popular Netflix docu-series 'Drive to Survive' will premiere next month on February 24.
Season 5 chronicles the events of the 2022 F1 campaign dominated the sport's regulation overhaul and by Red Bull and Max Verstappen, and one of the novelties of the latest installment is the presence in the fly-on-the-wall production of the reigning world champion.
In previous years, Verstappen previously snubbed DTS' production teams, refusing to take part in a series that he claimed, "faked a lot of stuff" and created false narratives and intrigue between the drivers.
The wait is almost over.

But a docu-series in which the sport's dominant figure is conspicuously missing from the storyline was an unacceptable shortfall.
So, Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali did his best to convince Verstappen to lend his persona to DTS, and the two-time world champion finally accepted.
Although the Red Bull driver enjoyed a dominant campaign, the 2022 season was plugged with drama, turmoil, plots ad backstories.
Until February 24 rolls around, fans can enjoy a short sample of DTS Season 5 in the series' just released trailer.
