Bahrain pre-season F1 test: Day 2 driver line-ups

One day down, two to go! Teams will resume their test programmes in Bahrain this morning, with those who made good progress on Thursday ready to begin fine-tuning their set-ups.

Save for an electronic glitch that momentarily hindered Aston Martin at the start of the session, yesterday's running was uneventful, with all teams logging solid mileage.

Everyone will be hoping for the same drama-free consistency today when the track goes green at 7:00 GMT (8:00 CET) for four hours of action, before a one-jour lunch break ensues and the running resumes at 12:00 GMT (13:00 CET) for an addition four hours of testing.

On Thursday, Sergio Perez was the only driver had did not take to the track as Red Bull had opted to assign yesterday's pace-setter Max Verstappen to a full day of running.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit will alternate its drivers today however, with Perez kicking off the team's morning and Verstappen taking over in the afternoon.

Over at Aston Martin, Fernando Alonso will be driving solo as the team waits news from Lance Stroll on the Canadian's recovery progress.

The Spaniard won't be the only one who will have his entire team's attention, with Logan Sargeant also on his own for a full day at Williams.
