Ferrari unveiled on Tuesday the special livery that it will run on its SF-23 F1 cars at next weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
The one-off design pays tribute to the manufacturer's Le Mans winning 499P Hypercar machine, with the latter's yellow “V” stripes featuring on the nose and engine cover of the Scuderia's F1 contenders.
The cars' race numbers – 16 and 55 – will also be yellow, while Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will have race suits specially designed for this race, featuring the Maranello marque’s colours of yellow, red and black and the “long F” logo which also features on the rear wing.
Finally, both drivers will sport special helmets next weekend, mainly yellow for the Monegasque and black for the Spaniard.
"The walls of the walkway leading from the paddock to the pit garage, will feature illustrations of the Scuderia’s milestones in Formula 1 as well as in other categories where owners have raced their cars," stated Ferrari.
The Italian outfit says that two of its three heroes of Le Mans - Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi - will attend next weekend's event, accompanied by their winner's trophy.
In the Ferrari Fan Zone located behind the paddock, Ferrari's 499P Hypercar will be on display along with the manufacturer's new 296 GT3 sportscar and the F2003-GA F1 machine that won the 2003 Italian GP in the hands of Michael Schumacher.
