The Aston Martin team has revealed on social media that it will be holding its 2024 team launch event on Monday, February 12.
An enigmatic post had a close up shot of Fernando Alonso's face with a green glint to his eye, set against a moody black background overlaid with text declaring 'Hyper-focus 12.02.24".
The post itself stated: "Get ready to welcome the #AMR24", making it clear that this would be the public bow of this year's car.
The team's website carried a message promising "An unshakeable belief. An unwavering energy. Every detail considered and optimised in the relentless pursuit of progress. This is hyper-focus."
A text message to the media confirmed that the new car would "break cover" at Silverstone, where the team has its new upgraded headquarters and factory facilities.
This date was also announced in an email to members of the team's I/AM fan campaign, which invited people to enter a competition to attend the unveiling.
Drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll together with team principal Mike Krack are expected to be present for the launch event.
"We need to find some consistency," Alonso told the media at the end of last season about his hopes for the new car. "Maybe one of the weak points was the car has to operate in a very narrow window.
"It seems that we’re struggling a little bit and it will be nice if we can always perform at a stable level next year," he added. “Also, if we can improve the straightline speed."

The team is the fourth to announce when its new car will be unveiled, with Williams and Stake F1 currently first up on February 5th. The latter will hold its event in London for the first time rather than its native Switzerland.
Ferrari has already said that their new car will be on show at Maranello on Tuesday February 13, the day after the Aston is set to hit the track for the first time.
That leaves six teams yet to say when they will be inviting the media in for the annual pre-season press launch.
Last year Haas were first on deck on January 31, followed by Red Bull on February 3 and Williams third-up on February 6 followed by Alfa Romeo (Stake as-was) the following day.
Aston Martin waited until February 13, sharing the date with McLaren, followed by Ferrari and Mercedes with Alpine bringing up the rear on February 16.
This year, pre-season testing in Bahrain will take place over three days from February 21 to 23, with the first race of the season taking place a week later on February 29 to March 2.
