Red Bull has announced that it will unveil its 2024 RB20 contender on February 15th, six days before the start of winter testing in Bahrain.
The team has not yet confirmed whether they will be showing the actual car or just a show car with their new colour scheme.
The Milton Keynes-based outfit will be challenged to replicate the crushing dominance it enjoyed last season in F1, when its RB19 prevailed in 21 of the championship’s 22 rounds, only missing out in Singapore where Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz triumphed.
Despite Red Bull’s banner year and the comfortable margin that it’s car enjoyed over its rivals, team boss Christian Horner is taking a conservative approach to this year’s campaign.

"We saw that in 2020 with Mercedes. If you remember, that was their most dominant year ever and yet, we were able to beat them in '21,” commented the Briton.
"There is a subtle rule change but I think that nothing stands still. We've seen competitors coming closer at different venues and I'm sure concepts will converge.
"Stable regulations always concertina. I don't think we'll ever be able to repeat the season that we've had, but hopefully, we can take the lessons from RB19 and apply them to [RB]20 and come up with a car that we can defend these titles with."

On the driver front, Max Verstappen will be gunning for a fourth consecutive title this season, while Sergio Perez will be aiming to improve his fortunes, aware that another performance shortfall will likely see the Mexican lose his plum drive with Red Bull at the end of 2024.
Red Bull is the seventh team to announce their launch plans for 2024, with set-to-be-rebranded sister outfit AlphaTauri, McLaren and Haas the remaining entrants to unveil their presentations schedules.
