Ferrari confirms multi-year title partnership deal with HP

The Ferrari F1 team announced on Wednesday a historic, multi-year partnership deal with American technology giant HP.

Starting from next week’s Miami Grand Prix, Ferrari's Formula 1 livery, team kit, and driver overalls will proudly showcase HP’s iconic blue logo.

Furthermore, the comprehensive title branding agreement will also encompass Ferrari's F1 Academy and Esports initiatives.

“Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress,” commented Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.

“From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation.

“In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together."

HP chief executive officer Enrique Lores added: “With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fuelling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit.

“Both brands are built on rich histories that have endured the test of time. Through this unique collaboration, we also have an opportunity to reach new audiences, drive business growth, and create lasting impact for our shared clients and communities.

“Together we will leverage the global stage of racing to accelerate sustainable innovation.”

HP's collaboration with Ferrari goes beyond branding as the company will also provide to the Scuderia a suite of services, including computers, printers, and various hardware, as well as conferencing technology.

The Hewlett Packard name is currently present in Formula 1 through its partnership with Mercedes. However, the Brackley squad’s collaboration is with Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

The latter which is focused on cloud and networking solutions operates separately from the consumer division, following the parent company’s split into two entities in 2015.
