Antonio Giovinazzi is hailed as the next great Italian driver following his official nomination as Ferrari's third driver for 2017.
The 2016 GP2 Series runner-up his been praised by the likes Jean Alesi, a man who knows a thing or two about racing with the Scuderia, for his skills on the track and his polished and well-educated attitude off it.
The 23-year-old Giovinazzi will be waiting in the wings this season, and if for any reason the House of Maranello calls, he will be ready to step into the limelight.
"I am still adjusting to being part of such a big family, with lots of people working around two drivers," Giovinazzi told Italy's Sky Sport 24.
"As third driver I will have to work hard in the simulator," he added.
"I have a lot to learn and will give 110 per cent, because if there is a chance to drive in a race, I will accept it."
