Toto Wolff parts with rare Prancing Horse

Toto Wolff's unwavering sporting allegiance is with Mercedes and with the F1 team he co-owns, but the Austrian has always had a soft spot for Ferrari.

Wolff's infatuation with the House of Maranello's designs encouraged him to acquire over the years several valuable machines from the Italian manufacturer, but since 2021 he has been parting with the Ferraris in his collection.

Two years ago he sold a limited edition LaFerrari Aperta as well as a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, and now he has entrusted specialized UK broker Tom Hartley Jnr with his 1990 Ferrari F40.

The F40 was introduced in 1988 to celebrate Enzo Ferrari’s 40th anniversary as an automobile manufacturer. The iconic Berlinetta was considered the “ultimate supercar” at the time.

Only 1,315 examples of the F40 rolled off from Ferrari's factory line. But Wolff's car was one of just 27 F40s that were shipped and sold in Spain.

The car – fresh from a complete overhaul - is offered complete with its original books including the ever-important warranty/service supplement, leather wallet and dedicated history file.
