F1 world championship leader Kimi Antonelli made good use of his easter weekend to make a pit stop at VR46 Motor Ranch – home turf of none other than Valentino Rossi.
Fresh from his back-to-back wins in China and Japan, the Mercedes prodigy found himself surrounded in Tavullia by sliding bikes, flying dirt, and the unmistakable chaos of Rossi’s two-wheel playground, alongside the legend himself and Aprillia MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi, among others.
Interestingly – and wisely, while the bikes were sideways, Antonelli stayed upright – watching the action unfold rather than jumping into it. Leading the championship with Mercedes likely comes with a “look, don’t touch” policy… especially when your day job involves 300 km/h corners.
Still, blending an F1 frontrunner with MotoGP royalty is a crossover that’s always worth the detour. And who knows – next time, Kimi might just swap his four wheels for two.
