The Marina Bay Circuit hosts one of the most spectacular races of the season, with the grand prix taking place under floodlights around the city streets. FP2 sees the teams able to carry out long runs in race simulation conditions as they work on car set-up.
This afternoon, Williams development driver Alex Lynn will join F1i trackside in Singapore to provide a drivers' perspective on the action.
FP1 was topped by Nico Rosberg, who was over 0.3s clear of team-mate Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo. Manor debutant Alexander Rossi had been enjoying a solid opening session ahead of his first grand prix, but brought out the red flags when he crashed at Turn 18 in the closing minutes.
Both Red Bull and McLaren looked more competitive around the Singapore streets, with he circuit placing less emphasis on power unit performance. Ricciardo is eyeing a podium while Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button will be hoping to chase points again.
Teams will also use the second session to continue evaluating updates, with Sauber introducing a major new aerodynamic package and a number of teams testing new parts on the street circuit.
You can follow all the live coverage on F1i's live page, which can be bookmarked as it will provide commentary on every session of the 2015 F1 season.
