Max Verstappen admits he's become oblivious to Sebastian Vettel's comments directed at him following the German driver's recent on-track antics.
Vettel and Verstappen entertained the crowds last week at Silverstone with a moment of intense wheel-to-wheel racing.
The German later criticised however his opponent's defensive driving tactics, suggesting the Red Bull charger had moved several times under braking.
"We know he is a bit jumpy on that," said Vettel.
"He is trying to defend as hard as possible, but at some point you need to stick to your line."
Verstappen responded to the Ferrari driver's remarks with indifference, suggesting that Vettel's recent road rage incident in Baku, when he deliberately rammed into Lewis Hamilton, had eroded his credibility.
"Yes, but I don't take that seriously," Verstappen said of his rival's comments.
"Especially not after all the things he did. If you look at the penalty points that he's got…
"The fight with Sebastian was good. It was hard but fair, I think. That little bit of contact maybe not, but for the rest everything was okay."
