For the second time in his F1 career, Felipe Massa announced his retirement from the sport, but this time it's final he insists.
A veteran of 267 Grands Prix - 269 when the curtain falls in Abu Dhabi later this month, Massa's career spans fifteen years and has yielded 11 wins, 16 pole positions and 41 podiums to date.
Beyond his impressive achievements, the likeable Brazilian has always embodied the consummate professional and a fair competitor among his peers.
It's hardly surprising therefore that so many within F1 have paid tribute to Felipe Massa on social media. We've complied here a sample of those laudatory messages.
