Red Bull Racing and Ferrari have stocked up on Pirelli's hypersoft tyre for next week's Canadian Grand Prix, with both teams taking on three more sets of the compound than their rival Mercedes.
Pirelli's selection for Montreal includes the hypersoft, ultrasoft and suprersoft compounds, the same options as teams enjoyed last weekend in Monaco, where the pink hypersoft rubber was used for the first time this season.
While the characteristics of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve significantly differ from Monte Carlo, everyone will no doubt put their one-race experience of the hypersoft to good use in Canada.
Both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will have five sets of the pink-rimmed tyre at their disposal, while their Ferrari and Red Bull counterparts have chosen a more aggressive approach with eight sets of Pirelli's marshmallow rubber, a quantity also followed by Force India, Renault and Toro Rosso.
