With the drivers' title done and dusted, Lewis Hamilton's single motivation in the last two races of the 2018 campaign is to deliver to Mercedes its fifth consecutive Constructors' title.
The Silver Arrows squad has remained undefeated in the constructors' championship since the advent of the hybrid era in F1 in 2014.
A Mercedes run of five titles would make it only the second team after Ferrari to realise such an achievement, the Scuderia notching up six titles on the trot between 1999 and 2004.
"I really want to win this constructors' title for the team," Hamilton told Sky F1. "It really means the world to the team.
"My sole goal now is to try and win these next two races and give them that."
Mercedes currently enjoys a 55-point lead over the Italian squad, a relatively comfortable margin that bodes well for its chances, although team boss Toto Wolff is shying away from any complacency.
"Our target for this season was to win both championships, not one title or the other, so our mindset is one of unfinished business as we head to Sao Paulo," he said;.
"We have a big battle on our hands for the constructors' title and we have lost ground to Ferrari in each of the past race weekends - even though we had the base performance to do better.
"This is the moment to keep our feet on the ground, focus clearly on the objective and trust in our processes and people to deliver."
In the opposing camp, Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene insists the Scuderia will fight its rival to the bitter end.
"The constructors' championship is still undecided and the team has closed the points gap over the past two races," he said.
"We are therefore determined to fight all the way to the finish, starting with the next GP in Brazil."
