Jenson Button is set to be reunited with the car that brought him his 2009 F1 world title, the Brawn BGP001.
Button will slot behind the wheel of the championship-winning racer at Silverstone on Thursday for a demo run ahead of the start of the British Grand Prix weekend.
Button's special outing has been organized by former Brawn team owner and F1 sporting manager Ross Brawn, who is also the owner of the car, and will be filmed by Sky Sports for a special segment that shall be broadcast on Sunday during Sky F1's British GP build-up show.
Brawn GP's dominate 2009 campaign included 8 wins, with 6 going to Button and 2 victories achieved by teammate Rubens Barrichello.
The Mercedes-powered BGP001 was notable for its "double diffuser" concept that gave the car an edge from the outset over its rivals.
