Mick Schumacher - the son of seven-time F1 world champion Michael - will race alongside Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at a Mercedes event in December.
The Mercedes Stars and Cars event will take place on Saturday, December 12 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart as a celebration of the latest Mercedes Motorsport season. As part of the event, 16 drivers will face off in identical cars around a stadium circuit - similar to the Race of Champions - with Hamilton and Rosberg being joined by the eight Mercedes DTM drivers, including F1 reserve and 2015 DTM champion Pascal Wehrlein.
The remaining six drivers for the event were selected by a fan vote, with Schumacher coming out on top ahead of former F1 drivers David Coulthard, Mika Hakkinen and Jean Alesi, who will also be joined by five-time DTM champion Bernd Schneider and F1 Safety Car driver Bernd Maylander.
With the driver selection complete, a new fan vote will decide the line-up for the round of 16.
Schumacher stepped up to his first year in cars this season, finishing the German Formula 4 championship in tenth position overall and third place in the rookie standings. The 16-year-old won one race in 2015 as well as taking two further podiums.
