As expected, Formula 1 has added Mugello and Sochi to the sport's 2020 schedule, with the events taking place respectively on September 13 and 27.

F1 will visit the Ferrari-owned 5.245 km track located in the Tuscany countryside for the very first time in the context of a Grand Prix weekend, and the race will indeed be called the Grand Prix of Tuscany.

The event will be the third installment of a triple header that will start at Spa on August 30, continue at Monza on September 6 and will conclude a week later at Mugello.

It will also hold a special meaning for Ferrari which will enter on that weekend its 1000th race in the F1 world championship.

The Russian Grand Prix at Sochi will take place on its original September 27 date at Sochi.

The addition of the two races brings the updated calendar to 10 rounds, and boosts F1's frantic schedule to 10 races in 77 days!
