'Drive to Survive - Season 4' will premiere on Netflix on March 11, but the streaming platform has released the official trailer for Formula 1's popular docuseries.

The ten-episode narrative produced by Box to Box Films, which has helped bring a whole new category of fans to the sport, covers Grand Prix racing's dramatic 2021 season by relying once again on a fly-on-the-wall approach to telling the story of one of the most thrilling campaigns in the history of F1.

From the fierce rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen and their respective teams that polarized the fan community, to a multitude of behind-the-scenes stories, this year's installments promise to bring to the fore an abundance of drama.

Last week, while commenting Formula 1's 2022 financial results, CEO Stefano Domenicali underscored once again the roiled played by the Netflix docuseries' success in spurring the sport's growth.

"This platform has been a vital point on the growth of awareness, mainly with a young generation and with newcomers of Formula 1," he said. "And for that we need to thank that vision and the product and the quality of that has been really very, very good."

While F1 fans across the world are eagerly anticipating the fourth season of 'Drive to Survive', the series will unfortunately unfold without any involvement from reigning world champion Max Verstappen.

The Red Bull charger - who was absent from season 3 but was still voted F1's most popular driver by the sport's fans - said last year that he isn't keen on taking part in a series which he says, "fakes a lot of stuff".

As we patiently await for March 11 to roll in, check out the trailer for 'Drive to Survive - Season 4'.
